Khoshroz Kitab Mahal Limited (Khoshroz Global) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we keep it. It applies to our website and our mobile app.

What we collect
When you order: your name, mobile number, email (optional), address, thana and district, and the transaction ID if you pay by bKash or Nagad. If you create an account, your password is stored encrypted; we cannot see it. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we receive your number and message.
Why we use it
Only to confirm your order, deliver your books, check payments, send your invoice, give you access to eBooks and contact you about your order. We do not send promotional messages without your permission.
Cookies and the Facebook Pixel
We use essential cookies to remember your bag, your language (Bangla/English) and your sign-in. To measure how our Facebook ads work, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel: it tells Meta which pages of our website you view and when you add a book to your bag or place an order. Your name, phone number and address are not sent to Meta. You can turn off ad personalisation in your Facebook settings.
Sharing
We never sell or rent your information. Only what is needed to deliver your books (name, phone, address) is shared with our courier (Steadfast, Pathao or RedX). We may give information to the authorities where the law requires it.
Card payments, Amazon and eBooks
On Khoshroz Global, card payments are made on Stripe's secure page; we never see your card number. To deliver your books, your name, address and phone are given to Amazon's fulfilment service. For eBooks, we keep which page you reached so you can continue later; your name and email are shown faintly on the pages you read.
Security
Our website always uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Only our authorised staff can see your details.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for accounts and the law.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself from the "Delete account" page at the bottom of the website, or ask us and we will do it. Past order records stay in our accounts as the law requires, but they are no longer linked to a login.
Our mobile app
The Khoshroz Android app (Google Play) collects the same information as the website and uses it in the same way. The app does not use your phone's location, camera, contacts, microphone or photos. Only your sign-in, bag and language are stored on your phone. The app has no advertising and no Facebook Pixel. Screenshots are blocked while you read an eBook. You can delete your account yourself in the app under My account → Delete account.
